Buckwheat is the honey that divides a room. 🍯

It is dark, malty, and about as far from a delicate floral as honey gets. People who love it put it in coffee, pour it on pancakes, and use it where molasses would go. People who do not love it have usually never tried it properly.

Every jar is raw and never pasteurized, so nothing gets rounded off on the way to you.

A quick word on the word raw. 🍯

Raw means our honey is never pasteurized and never heated to the point where the character cooks out of it. It is strained and poured, and that is it. That is why one jar can be floral and another can be deep and malty, and why the same varietal can taste slightly different from one season to the next.

Pasteurized honey is consistent. Raw honey is specific. We will take specific every time.

- Native bee males are safer, no death s*x for them.
- Honeybees are meant for agriculture and business. Native bees for local ecosystem health and stability. Know the difference.

Orchard update 🍎 We're closed this Saturday, October 10. We plan to open again Saturday, October 17, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, but that day isn't confirmed yet. We'll post the final word on Wednesday, October 14, on our website and in The C***r Press. Please check before you make the drive. We're closed Sundays for the rest of the season.

Individual preorders are closed, and single jars are not available. Approximately 50 jars remain from this release. The remaining pathway is bulk corporate and event gifting:
