Let me preface this by saying; on your big day, YOU call the shots and ultimately know what’s best for you!
However, from our experience, these are 3 of the most important factors of a wedding reception!⤵️
🍝1. Quality Food! Your friends and family are happily there to celebrate your union, so please reciprocate the love back to them and provide high quality, great tasting food for them to feast on before they hit that dance floor! Also, this goes without saying, but PLEASE be mindful of your guests with dietary restrictions. They deserve a great meal too!
💃2. Entertainment. This couple chose a more intimate reception and did not have a dance floor, but had an interactive game for guests to get to know each other, a fun comic for guests to read and sign, tarot readings and a Polaroid camera for guests to take fun photos. The open bar definitely helps the entertainment aspect too🤪
♠️3. Authentic & personal decor. You do NOT have to go the traditional route when it comes to wedding decorations. When selecting decor items like florals, guestbook, signage and centerpieces, please ensure it means something to you and your partner rather than just being “pretty.” You want this experience to be a reflection of your relationship so keep the vibe as close to that as possible. Don’t let societal norms or expectations keep you from having the wedding of YOUR dreams. This couple chose a dark and moody wedding and had NO regrets! We encourage being uniquely YOU!❤️
