In a jungle of overgrown weeds, drip tape desperately needing to be layed, a greenhouse neglected for weeks too long and not enough hours in a day, it’s easy to get discouraged and feel like you’re never going to make it.

AND then… the universe comes along and brings a brightly lit encouraging person, a new colab partner, and in todays case a perfectly woven birds nest right in the middle of my disaster of a greenhouse to gently nudge and remind me that there is a season for everything, beauty in the chaos and that I am exactly where I am supposed to be 🦋

A primary part of my mission when I started this journey was to create a space that would encourage nature, promote life and provide healing while leaving the world a little better than I found it. So many days lately I feel defeated, today was a good day and the universe has given me the sign I so desperately needed to keep pushing ahead 🌻💕🐦‍⬛

And also an excuse to let the greenhouse go for one more day!

Stock: just a few reasons why it’s one of my favorite flowers to grow with its spicy scent that fills the air, a pollinator favorite, how it reminds me of Victorian cottage gardens, its sturdy, tall stems and its long vase life.

Fun fact…stock is actually part of the brassica family which is most like why it prefers cold nights to thrive and grow.

These beautiful pastels that are taller than my waist are blooming right on time and we will be harvesting and filling orders this week!
