We welcome you to the reopening of the historic Casino San Clemente, where Judy Garland, Dorothy Lamour, Mickey Rooney and Cesar Romero enjoyed music and dancing “under the stars” in the Spanish Village by the Sea. Built in 1937 and modeled after the casino on Catalina Island, this property is rich in local history having hosted many an evening of big band dancing, dinner theater, radio broadcasts, fundraisers and even the crowning of Miss San Clemente. As new owners we are happy to host your private event and are also planning many nights of community entertainment beneath the iconic dome. With four distinct areas of your choosing, the Casino can accommodate everything from intimate gatherings in the ocean view Patio of the Stars and West Wing as well as larger entertainment driven events of up to 300 guests in the Ballroom. With our rejuvenated Rock Garden, the Casino is quickly becoming a wedding venue favorite. We invite you to visit and explore the possibilities. Surrounded by the ocean breeze, we shared a glimpse into our exciting plans taking shape at our historic venue, enjoyed small bites, and sipped on a refreshing signature spritz as the sun dipped towards the horizon. Haelin and Sangmin’s day was filled with sweet moments from their first look on the Patio of the Stars to exchanging vows surrounded by their closest loved ones in the Rock Garden. With soft pink, ivory, and lime green florals setting the scene, every part of the wedding felt full of springtime charm. An Italian-inspired dinner was served to guests followed by a cake cutting and dessert before everyone took to the Grand Ballroom dance floor to party into the night.

Their first look in the Rock Garden led into a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by soft pastel florals before guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the Patio of the Stars with ocean breezes and stunning sunset views. The celebration continued in the Grand Ballroom with vibrant décor, a delicious dinner, decadent desserts, and a packed dance floor that kept the party going all night.

Sonja and Andrew’s day began with a romantic first look at Mission San Juan Capistrano before returning to their coastal celebration at the Casino, where an outdoor wedding ceremony in the Rock Garden featured black bentwood chairs, white florals, and glowing string lights as they exchanged vows surrounded by loved ones.
