I was honored, yet saddened, this weekend to work on Ramon's casket cover.
Ramon lived a life of positivity. Even through he was an amputee, he loved skateboarding, surfing, a good pair of Vans, and let's not forget the PLATONS!
I went with a beach theme and colors for his cover. I used sandy-colored carnations, blue hydrangeas, sunset-colored alstroemerias, sunny solidago, and white roses and lilies. The small sign is a wall sign that I later gave to his sister. I also did a small standing spray from my in-laws of white roses, lilies, and hydrangeas. They've always been supportive of my work and I immediately said yes when they asked if I could do both pieces.

I've made Candace's mums and flowers since she was in elementary school. Amazing how time flies.. it seems like yesterday I made her first mums to support her brother for band and then for her middle school homecoming. Today, she attends her senior prom. I hope you have a lot of fun!

I had the honor of making a casket cover for my uncle Arnoldo Peña.
He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, and so I wanted to make sure his piece had blue and white. I found and used the perfect dark blue delphinium and some blue hydrangeas. Complimented with bells of Ireland, sunflowers, and white roses, I poured my love into this piece and know it is one he'd be happy to have.
I will always remember his smile, his compassion, and how he always wanted to help others. He will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

His friend is a Cardette and raises a steer for FFA. So her garter came with a little plushy that she can keep.

Annie Lopez showed me a picture of her daughter's beautiful gray, glittery, sparkly dress. Burgandy roses along with gray ribbon, charcoal rhinestones, and a black rhinestone bracelet will compliment her attire perfectly!
And the matching boutonierre for her date!
