There is something so special about being trusted with someone’s brand new baby.
Newborn photography is so much more than taking a pretty picture. It’s patience, gentleness, attention to every tiny detail, and knowing that the little person in front of my camera is someone’s entire world.

I’ve been doing this for years, and somehow it still gets me every single time. The tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, little noises, and those peaceful moments that disappear way too quickly. 🥹

Behind every finished image is me hovering over that baby, fixing the tiniest detail, waiting for the perfect second, and probably holding my breath when I press that shutter. 😂📸

I truly love what I do. Creating photographs that families will still be holding onto when this tiny newborn is grown is something I will never take for granted.

There are moments in life that remind you why you fell in love with what you do… and this week was one of those moments.

As I sat in a room full of photographers I have looked up to for years, I couldn’t help but think about how far this journey has brought me. Every lesson, every note I wrote down, every behind-the-scenes moment filled me with so much gratitude. Not because I have it all figured out but because I know there is always more to learn, and my clients deserve that from me.

I never want to become comfortable. I never want to stop growing. Every workshop I attend, every class I invest in, every mile I travel is with one purpose in mind… to come home better than I left.

To every family, every mama, every senior, every couple, and every client who has trusted me with your memories thank you. Because of you, I get to continue chasing this dream and investing back into my business so I can give you an even more meaningful experience and even more beautiful images.

I’m leaving this summit with a heart so full, a notebook overflowing with ideas, and a renewed passion for what I do. I am genuinely so excited for what’s ahead.
