He was a truly an amazing man. We will miss you sir.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Past Grand President Leroy Muehlstein. Leroy passed away this afternoon at the age of 82. Leroy served as Grand President for 20 years, from 1989-2009, longer than any other Grand President. He was the embodiment of the “Friendship, Love and Loyalty” motto and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife of more than 60 years, Linda, their children and their families. Services are pending. We will post an update when more information is available. Please look for more on Leroy’s life in the January issue of the Hermann Sons Life newspaper that will be available online Wednesday.

What a great meeting we had yesterday evening! Thank you to all those who braved the weather and joined us for fellowship and laughter. We honored our “Humanitarian of the year” Joshua Platts. What a great celebration!! Looking forward to our Thanksgiving celebration on Monday, November 19th.

Our September meeting will be Sunday the 14th at the Retirement Home in Comfort. Starting at noon for lunch with the residents followed by Bingo and singing. See you there!
