Join us for a 5k Fun Run event supporting the Southside High School Mighty Cardinal Band.
April 12, 2026 ISD Main Campus
Run, walk, or jog the route—then Fiesta at the finish line with a Chicken on a Stick, Fruit, Agua Frescas, DJ and the Mighty Cardinal band. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, or looking for a fun way to be active, or just in it for the Fiesta Medal and Food, this event is for everyone.

Important Details
-This is a fun run, not a timed race—all paces are
welcome, whether you run, jog, or walk.
-Closed course alert: Roads will be closed. Race will
take place on Southside ISD campus
-Our 5K-ish route starts and ends at the Might
Cardinal Band Hall.
-Follow the arrows and enjoy the sounds!
-Rain or shine! If conditions aren’t safe for running,
we’ll still gather for good times and great music
and food.
-Dogs and strollers are welcome, but use caution. -Campus sidewalks, streets, and trails may have
uneven terrain.
-Final event info will be posted the week of the run
