What differentiates us from other paranormal companies is that we care deeply about history, folklore and authentic paranormal experiences. For example: We don't do jump scares, we don't make up stories, and we don't dress up as characters. In our tours and investigations, we do our

best to establish what is fact and what is fiction. Every year we host two large paranormal conferences: The San Antonio Psychic & Spirit Fest (every May) and The San Antonio Paranormal Fest (every September). In 2025, we were excited to coordinate with the New England Society of Psychic Research (NESPR) to showcase the notorious haunted Annabelle Doll to over 1500 visitors. Our past community partners include: The San Antonio River Authority, Government Canyon State Natural Area, The Nat Washer Masonic Lodge and The King William Association. Recently, we launched a dark tourism podcast called “Curious Travels: A Morbid Travel Guide” and a weekly blog titled, “The Morbid Travel Guide,” accessible at morbidtravelguide.com.

Have you ever wanted to step inside the historic & haunted Victoria's Black Swan Inn?

Join us for a daytime tour of the home and grounds. Currently, only guests who book tours with us are allowed inside the old mansion. During the tour you will be able to go inside the home, listen to the history of the property as well as its haunted history. This is a 1-hour tour. (We offer more in depth tours, events, and private tours of the property.)

Saturday, August 22, 2026 @ 12:00 pm

Check-in 10 min before your tour starts in front of the mansion. Tour starts at right at 12:00pm.

In 1893, Dr. Julius Braunnagel purchased a property in the heart of San Antonio's King William Historic District. His mansion eventually became home to local Masons, and gained a chilling reputation for being paranormally active.

This building has lived many lives—as a private residence, a doctor’s office, and even a funeral viewing parlor. Join us as we explore the deep history and paranormal mysteries of the lodge.

After a short walking tour of the neighborhood, we will offer you the use of our paranormal research equipment to use for independent investigation on three floors of the haunted mansion, including the basement.

This week on The Morbid Travel Guide, we journey into the art of Mexican folk healing/ Curanderismo in San Antonio and its connection to Mission Espada.

Long before San Antonio existed, Indigenous communities throughout the region carried traditions of healing and knowledge of the natural world. At Mission Espada, that history connects us to María de Refugia “Grandma Santo” García, a curandera who, according to National Park Service oral history, learned from legendary South Texas healer Don Pedrito Jaramillo.

You can visit all five of San Antonio’s Spanish missions and explore this history for yourself.
