What a joy it was to serve this beautiful bride and her new hubby. The greatest compliment a wedding coordinator could receive is having a bride and her family say they didn't have to worry about anything!

We had been working closely with the McKendricks and the mother of the bride for a few months leading up to this beautiful day to make sure everything went according to plan. With a few hiccups along the way, the day went amazingly well.

What a blessing it is to be part of a day that is so special and meaningful!

Deja Vu Event & Wedding Planning is here to remind you DO NOT FORGET your Marriage License.

You can apply in person at any Texas County Clerk's office. Both of you will need to be present. Take your ID and be ready to make a payment of about $70 - $80. There will be a 72 hour waiting period from your application date before you can get married. The license is good for 90 days.

It is so important to take this with you the day of your wedding. The license will need to be signed by you, your new spouse, and your wedding officiant. Texas no longer requires witnesses, which traditionally are the the maid of honor and best man.

The officiant will mail out the marriage license to the state to record your marriage through the state. A copy of your marriage certificate can be request and kept for your own records.
