Paid First Aid / CPR Support Needed for Hunter Jumper Show - June 27-28
San Antonio Rose Palace is looking for a calm, responsible, qualified person to be on site during our upcoming hunter/jumper horse show.
Dates needed:
Friday evening, June 26 — schooling
Saturday, June 27 — show begins at 8:00 AM
Sunday, June 28 — show begins at 8:00 AM
Saturday and Sunday will likely finish sometime in the afternoon, most likely before 5:00 PM, but could run a little later.
We are looking for someone who can provide basic first aid and help assess/stabilize a rider, spectator, or participant until 911 arrives if needed.
Minimum requirement: current First Aid / CPR / AED certification or equivalent medical training.
Military medical experience is very welcome. Army medic/68W, Navy corpsman, Air Force medical tech, military firefighter, nurse, EMT, paramedic, athletic trainer, or similar background would be ideal.
Must be comfortable handling possible falls, cuts, sprains, heat-related issues, possible concussion concerns, and knowing when emergency services need to be called.
This is a paid position. Lunch/snacks provided.
