Buffy the Ranunculus... After 2 weeks... She aged gracefully and is pretty much spent now. I will dry her and keep her around. ❤️

What's your Second favorite flower?

Mine are ranunculus.

What do I love about them? Welllll.... I love the layered concentric petals, delicate and tissue-like texture. I love how Sometimes you get one who's trying to look like an anemone. I love when they have little offshoots with baby buds. I love how romantic and gardeny they are. They also make fantastic boutonnieres and corsages because their heads hold up surprisingly well out of water. They elevate any design and take it up a level even with just one. They're just awesome. Totally worth having to wire them 🤣

There's something special about romantic, flowing ribbon (that contrasts) on a breezy day for an outdoor wedding 😍 also, Jewel toned dresses and bright citrus color flowers 😍😍😍

When you are pinning and planning, if you aren't sure exactly what you want color, flower, or texture wise, it's really important to communicate with your designer. During our consultation, Shayna hadn't been able to find a bouquet photo online that really captured what it was she was looking for so I searched for about an hour until I found something she really loved. Moral of the story, work with a designer who is thorough and patient, and who listens and understands your vision. :)

Do you have a rain plan?

Last week was on and off rain but we got a beautiful day for the wedding! If it Had rained, they would have moved the ceremony inside a separate space from the main ballroom the reception was in.
