We are looking for a dependable, responsible production cook who can work a flexible mostly M- F daytime schedule. It's important to us that you are friendly, a hard worker and eager to learn! Recent culinary graduates are welcome to apply. Our menus are extremely varied and this is a great opportunity to learn new skills, recipes and techniques. Experience cooking in a professional kitchen is required.

Requirements:
A current CA food handler card - this can be obtained once hired.
Understand various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
Ability and aptitude to run the kitchen in the chef's absence (after a training period)
Fluent in English (doesn't have to be perfect but basic is necessary)
Work clean, independently and efficiently

You must be able to:
Lift 50 lbs.
Work in cold and/or warm conditions
Stand for long periods of time; bend; stoop; and reach

HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2011 STYLE!

When the economic news is grim, it’s time to party! There is always a good reason to celebrate. You made it through another year and next year is bound to be better. We can help you celebrate the 2011 Holidays and do it affordably and green.


Of course, we believe that our food is the most important part of a party, but, really, it’s friends getting together during a joyful time of the year or work-mates celebrating the end of the year and looking forward to 2012.

The most economical and, we think, elegant party is one where all the appetizers are passed on trays, even some holiday sweets. This cuts down on plates, tables and other rental needs. Meal by the bite is what we call it. Add festive drinks and lively guests and you’ve got a Party!

As in all of our catering we use local and sustainable food sources whenever possible.

Of course, if you’d prefer an appetizer buffet or a sit down dinner, we can do that, too.
