This is my kid’s house. The remains of a lovely jewel of a Mission style bungalow created by and . “We’re never moving from here” they said. Posting these pics because I can’t stop thinking of them on day 2 of this unimaginable loss in the LA fire. As they survey the rubble left behind I try to think how to help in these early days, heart and hands. I know I’ll have opportunity in this long process of a multitude of needs and tasks before there is a next home. Until then I pray -so many homeless now-and made a small contribution to . I believe they arrived in LA today.

November. What do you mean, there’s no plan B? Ashley knew exactly what she wanted her guests to experience on their wedding day and could not be persuaded to consider anything else. And magically by ceremony time the rain stopped the sun appeared. Wow.
