There's something about getting married with Puget Sound as your witness. 🌊

This recent ceremony at Rose Hill Community Center in Mukilteo had everything we love about a PNW wedding β€” a soft breeze, warm sunshine, and a view stretching clear across the water to Whidbey Island, with ferries drifting by in the distance and mountains resting quietly on the horizon.

Some venues don't need much decorating. Nature already did the work β€” our job was just to help two people say "I do" against a backdrop this good. πŸ’

Congratulations to a beautiful couple β€” thank you for letting us be part of your day!

There's nothing like salt air and sandy feet! 🌊

We spent a day at Ocean Shores, WA β€” a beach walk, sandy toes, and jackets on for that classic, chilly PNW summer breeze.

While we were in town, two seafood gems earned a full five stars:
πŸ™ The Garage, Ocean Shores β€” the BEST clam chowder and cornmeal-breaded fish and chips, plus stellar service.
🐟 Mike's Seafood β€” English-style fish and chips we loved, served up on a fish-shaped plate that made us smile.

On the way home we stopped in Olympia for breakfast at Hash (). The Beecher's Brisket Hash is THIS good β€” we didn't even pause to take a photo β€” and the Cinnamon Roll French Toast was divine. They pour Dillanos Coffee Roasters (), and we loved it so much we took some home. We will be back.

And the find of the day: a tie-dye shirt from Meg at Forest Moon Market () β€” handmade, one of a kind, exactly the kind of small-business magic we love stumbling into on the road.

We officiate weddings all over the Pacific Northwest, and honestly, the best part of the job is discovering little corners like this one along the way. Ocean Shores, you were a good time.

✨ A Garden Wedding to Remember ✨

Nestled among the blooms at Rock Creek Gardens in Puyallup, we had the honor of witnessing a celebration that beautifully wove together two traditions β€” semi-formal wedding style meeting traditional Bangladeshi wedding attire in the most stunning way. πŸ’›

Gold and rose gold set the tone, while every shade of pink imaginable filled the garden in florals as far as the eye could see. One of our favorite moments? The exchange of flower garlands β€” a joyful tradition that had guests cheering them on. 🌸

And then... the rowboat. Its stern dressed in flowers, gliding across the water for photos, it felt like something straight out of a storybook. We're still thinking about it.

Huge gratitude to the incredible vendors who brought this day to life:

🌷 Florals by the endlessly talented Betty of Daisy and Wish Flowers β€” every petal placed with so much heart
🌿 Venue magic from the owners and staff at β€” thank you for hosting this wedding in your beautiful gardens

We feel so lucky to get to be part of days like this. πŸ’«

πŸ’• A Downtown Bellevue Celebration

Some weddings don't need a grand venue or a sweeping view β€” just the people who matter most, gathered close. This sweet celebration took place right in the couple's own building, surrounded by close friends and family who've walked alongside their story from the start.

The palette was pure romance β€” soft, layered shades of blush and light pink, delicate as the moment itself. And the bride? Absolutely radiant in an iridescent gown that caught the light with every step down the aisle.

But let's talk about the real star of the ceremony... 🐾 Puni the cat, serving as ring bearer, stole the show (and probably a few hearts) as she made her official wedding debut.

Big or small, grand or intimate β€” every love story deserves to be honored beautifully. We were so glad to be part of this one. 🩷

β˜€οΈ A Snohomish Wedding, Soaked in Sunshine β˜€οΈ

There's something about Machias Meadows Farm that feels like a love letter to the Pacific Northwest β€” and this wedding day was no exception. Set on 30 acres of farmland with the Pilchuck River running alongside it, the whole property seemed to glow gold in the afternoon light.

A soft breeze drifted across the fields, carrying the scent of a rainbow of wildflowers decorating the aisle. The historic red barnβ€”built back in 1912β€”stood as the perfect backdrop, its weathered wood and warm light made every photo feel like a page from a storybook. And of course, we can't forget the farm's gentle highland cows, which grazed nearby and stole hearts throughout the celebration.

Days like this remind us why we love officiating weddings in this corner of the world. Sunshine, sincerity, and two people ready to say "I do" surrounded by the beauty of the farm β€” it doesn't get much better.

☁️ A Mt. Rainier Elopement: When the Mountain Had Other Plans

Some days, the view you plan for isn't the one you get β€” it's better.

This sweet couple began their morning with sunrise photos and those iconic Rainier views, joined by their parents for the quiet, golden hours before the ceremony. But by the time we reached the viewpoint, the mountain had wrapped itself in fog. No epic peak. No sweeping vista.

So we pivoted. The evergreens became the backdrop instead β€” tall, steady, and quietly beautiful in their own right.

And then, right as Dan said the words "husband and wife" and they leaned in for their first kiss... the sun broke through.

You can't script that. You can only be ready for it. πŸŒ²β˜€οΈ

That's the thing about elopements on the mountain β€” Rainier does what Rainier wants. Our job is just to help you say "I do" no matter what she decides to show us that day.
