We are thrilled that Dowden and Lori have chosen to spend their wedding weekend with us at LeighWood Place. They are such a precious couple and we look forward to getting to know them better during this special engagement season!

Sweet Lori! So many special connections here! She’s from my hometown 💙 I had the privilege of teaching and advising her at ICC ❤️💙 My momma taught Dowden — and his dad — and always talked about what a great student he was. I also taught his sweet bonus-mom, Brandie. Honestly, the connections just keep going!

But perhaps the sweetest connection of all is that they chose LeighWood Place, which means they’ll also be connected to sweet Jona Rae and Mike. What a blessed season it will be getting to support Lori and Dowden through this special chapter of life.

LeighWood was full of music the past 2 nights as Saltillo High School Singers presented Heartstrings and Harmony. Thank you to all of the guests who bought tickets to support this fund raiser and enjoy the delicious dinner provided each night by Special Occasions by Sandra Lyons/Hey Mama What’s for Supper and to the students and their choral director, Tanner Lyons, who shared their musical talents, as well as the many merchants who contributed to make the silent auction a success. This was a fun way to celebrate the start of Valentines week.

Wedding weekend for Channing and Bristy started Friday evening, 1/16/26, with a lovely candlelight rehearsal dinner in the Magnolia Recption Hall at LeighWood Place.
