I’ve been sooo back and forth with this decision for the last year but it’s time I officially announce, we are closing up shop!

I started this business 5 years ago, never imagining where it would lead me. The places we’ve explored, memories made, the highs and lows of running a small business and, most importantly, the people we’ve met and come to LOVE (both clients & fellow vendors) have been such a blessing and privilege! The experiences and the life lessons that have come from this business are invaluable and I know we will talk about these years for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much for being a part of this!!

I didn’t really have any expectation for motherhood and it wasn’t something I had dreamed about my entire life. But the moment I met my baby boy, something in me changed. Nothing has ever brought me more deep and lasting joy and fulfillment and I know being a momma is my calling right now! As I write this, I am literally rocking my baby to sleep, about to go read another book on motherhood, so so happy. Life has never been so sweet, simple and blissful. 🤍 I feel so grateful for all the different seasons of life.

A little tease from one of the most incredible weddings I’ve had the privilege of capturing! Victoria and Stephen are so kind, beautiful and ADVENTUROUS! They hosted their wedding at and the next day we had fun exploring and shooting in Grand Teton National Park! Such an adventure of a wedding! I can’t wait to get working on their full film soon!

It’s time for another fun intro! I’m Sydney- the founder and owner of Sydney Beth Films. And this is Erik- my adorable husband, 2nd shooter and BFF. I started Sydney Beth films way before we even met. But when Erik and I decided to get married, I told him joining Sydney Beth Films and marrying me was a package deal!

I am the main shooter, editor, accountant, bookkeeper, email answer-er and more!

Erik comes to (almost) every wedding with me and does ALL the incredible behind the scenes work that unfortunately doesn’t get as much praise and attention as it deserves. He does all the tripods, all the B + C cams, audio, drone, Time-lapses, b-roll and all the last minute emergency errands. All to make sure your wedding day runs smooth! I really couldn’t do it without him!

There are so many things we love about filming weddings but TRULY my favorite part is that I get to work alongside Erik. This past year we have learned so much together and made so many memories. We love all the friends we’ve made with couples + vendors. Cheers to many more amazing weddings this year!! And thank you .elizabeth.photography for taking this awesome BTS photo in Moab!
