Our mission is to promote the arts and enhance the quality of life in Utah. We strive to maintain the highest artistic quality in our production and programming, re

present excellence among a range of artistic mediums, and promote an appreciation for fine art while encouraging innovation and supporting non-traditional, contemporary works.

Meet two of this year's Kids Art Yard Nonprofit Partners: Utah's Hogle Zoo and the Jordan River Commission!

After hearing this year's Art Yard theme: Go With the Flow! Rivers and Streams, both the Utah's Hogle Zoo and Jordan River Commission knew their mission of hosting conservation and restoration events in Utah’s backyard along the Jordan River to help preserve the local waterway and ecosystems, was a perfect fit for our youngest Festival visitors.

Their hands on art project was helping kids create bracelet/lanyard art to represent the ecosystem of rivers and streams around us. Different colored beads represented different parts of the ecosystem and when complete, it serves to display how all parts work together to create a whole and thriving river and stream ecosystem in Utah.

We LOVED taking your photo submissions and creating the "For the Love of Art" mural. We had submissions from community members at the Festival through the years, photos of friends and family, many of your most memorable moments. Thank you to all who submitted photos and were a part of this communal piece of art!

This is how you celebrate 50 years 🎂

This year's Big Deal Brunch brought the PARTY. Birthday cake, bloody marys, live performances, raffle prizes, and a photobooth where an artist actually drew you instead of just snapping a photo.

Many supporters gathered to celebrate the Utah Arts Festival's 50th anniversary while raising funds to keep this festival alive and thriving for the next 50 years.

Thank you to everyone who came to brunch, bid on raffle items, and invested in the future of the Utah Arts Festival. Thank you to the artists who performed. And a huge thank you to everyone who made this celebration unforgettable.

Meet Jake, the singer from a local Utah Arts Festival band, Flamingo! Flamingo are no strangers to the Utah Arts Festival, performing with us for a few years now. We love our local artists and we love our repeat artists!

The Round was PACKED all four days 🔥

1520 Arts brought the heat with non-stop hip-hop, street culture, and dance battles that had people lined up and locked in from start to finish.

Thank you to 1520 Arts for being a long-time Festival partner and keeping that energy alive every single night. Thank you to every dancer, drummer, and competitor who brought their A-game. And to everyone who packed The Round and made it one of the most electric spots at the Festival.

BANDALOOP had us mesmerized all Festival weekend.

We were so grateful that BANDALOOP could return to the Festival this year and help us celebrate 50 years! Their performance, 'FLOCK,' was inspiring as Utahns are wrestling with the plight of the Great Salt Lake. The performance traced the pathways of bird and human migration, waterways, and the lifelines that connect us all.

Thank you to BANDALOOP for creating magic on the side of the library walls once again!

Sometimes the most impactful art is the kind you create yourself.

Festival attendees rave about the vast amount of different types of art at the Utah Arts Festival and marvel at how it's made, while rarely getting the chance to create the art itself. This year we changed that. With multiple adult art workshops, Festival attendees learned how to create stained glass, forge, decorate tiles and more!
