Like many of you, we have been searching for actions that demonstrate our support for change. Resistance can be shown across multiple platforms, such as protesting, organizing, volunteering, counseling, community programming, marketing, or silently donating. ⁠⠀

We at Marae have collectively found ways to exercise our voices in solidarity through signing petitions, making donations to organizations we believe in, and making a commitment to show up to the voting polls. What avenues will you take?⁠⠀

“We are saddened and pained by the injustice we have witnessed, but inspired and hopeful by so many willing to join the efforts to make a change. Now is not the time to post our usual content. Now is the time to speak up and educate ourselves about what is happening around us. We will do our best this week to share links to donation sites, petitions, and other resources that promote solidarity.⁠
