THE PILAR POBIL LEGACY FOUNDATION IS A SALT LAKE CITY-BASED NONPROFIT ARTS ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE ARTS AND ARTS EDUCATION IN UTAH. BUILDING OFF THE TREMENDOUS SUCCESS OF "ART IN PILAR'S GARDEN," THE FOUNDATION IS IN THE UNIQUE POSITION TO CREATE COMMUNITY-BASED ART AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT WILL POSITIVELY IMPACT THE CITY'S CULTURE NOW AND FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS. Hi artists!

For 34 years, Art in Pilar’s Garden has brought together established and emerging artists for a weekend show attended by hundreds of guests.

This year, we’re opening up the application process. Whether you’ve shown with us before or would be new to Art in Pilar’s Garden, we’d love to see your work. We’ll select seven or eight artists for the June 12–13, 2027 show.

There’s a $15 nonrefundable application fee. If selected, the participation fee is $250, with your $15 application fee credited toward it. Artists keep 100% of their sales.

On September 26th, step past the threshold for an intimate Hands-On storyteller art Workshop led by the creative rebellion in Pilar's. Very own Garden. We're opening the doors for a tour of her original artwork, serving up local bites and drinks by Hell's kitchen and handing you the tools to craft your own expressive piece where Utah art history was made. What happens when 13 storytellers step into a hidden garden under the moon? Magic. 🌙✨

SLC Lunatics Storytellers Canvas took over Casa Pilar for an evening of raw narrative and strings. Thirteen voices shared their craft, punctuated by the live acoustic work of violinist and guitarist Aaron Jacques, filling the backyard with an atmosphere Pilar describes best: “a love for what makes life worth living.”

Casa Pilar’s doors and garden remain open as a sanctuary for beauty, connection, and Utah’s vibrant creative community.
