Saab has unveiled a full-scale concept for a stealthy, supersonic fighter drone that could become a high-end partner for Sweden's Gripen E.

The Autonomous Collaborative Platform (ACP) is designed for high-risk missions in heavily defended airspace, including air-to-air combat, electronic warfare, suppression of enemy air defenses and deep strikes.

Saab is already developing two technology demonstrators, A1 and A2, with the first expected to fly within the next 15 months. The A1 uses the same F414 engine family found on the Gripen E/F and is intended to demonstrate low-observable and supersonic capabilities.

If Sweden moves forward with the program, Saab envisions the operational aircraft entering service in the mid-2030s.
