He doesn’t want the recognition, just wants to help those in need. We’re grateful Ryan is on our team! We’ve had the privilege to watch him grow into a very kind and generous young man that is always willing to help to the best of his ability. If you stop by the shop, give him a little nod of gratitude, but nothing more!

We don't always get to hear a neighbor's motivation for giving, but when we do these stories are always worthy of celebration.

Ryan for instance, who is a student at Eastern Michigan University and employee of Cottage Inn Pizza donated an entire pizza lunch to Food Gatherers' Community Kitchen for anyone facing hunger in honor of MLK Day.

He told us that two of his family members have accessed meals at the community kitchen and received services from the Shelter when they were in need of assistance and he wanted to give back.

We are thankful that we could help Ryan's family in a time of need and we are honored to have Ryan's generous support that allowed us to serve a crowd favorite lunch on MLK Day.
