If you receive this bouquet as a gift please know it was stolen from my kiosk inside Northridge Mall in Salinas on Saturday, July 25.
During one of my busiest hours someone chose to take this bouquet while I was helping customers. Around 4:30 p.m. I remember seeing three young men moving this specific bouquet around and talking among themselves. I can’t say for certain what happened but shortly after the bouquet was gone.
I am heartbroken. Truly heartbroken, disappointed, and deeply shaken. Anyone who creates eternal bouquets knows they take hours of work to make.
What hurts me most isn’t the financial loss. It’s the feeling of standing there, realizing that someone looked at something I poured my heart into and decided to take it anyway. As a small business owner you give pieces of yourself to what you create and moments like this make it feel so much harder to keep going. I never thought I would feel this kind of loss in my own community.
