The Salinas Sports Complex is operated by the California Rodeo Association, Inc., a 501C3 not-for-profit organization that gives back over $500,000 to the local community each year. In partnership with the City of Salinas , the California Rodeo Association designed the Salinas Sports Complex to host not only the Rodeo but a wide variety of community and sports events that include concerts, footbal

l games, soccer games, motor events, festivals, and graduations. The complex is located on 80 acres in Sherwood Park on land owned by the City of Salinas . The California Rodeo Association holds a 50 year lease with the City to run and maintain the facilities. For years the grounds were used only for staging the California Rodeo, while today the Salinas Sports Complex is a year round hub of activity.

🐂 7:00 PM Big Week Bull Riding begins featuring top PRCA riders and Xtreme Bulls action

DO NOT PARK AT SHERWOOD GARDENS

🚫 No Parking at Sherwood Gardens
The Sherwood Gardens parking lots across the street from the Salinas Sports Complex are reserved for customers of those businesses only.

🚗 Rodeo attendees may not park there and risk being towed at their own expense (towing fees likely start at $250+).

✅ Where to Park Instead:
🅿️ Use designated paid parking lots at the Salinas Sports Complex
🚘 Consider using the FREE shuttle service on Constitution Blvd. or carpooling with family and friends
🚕 Use Uber, Lyft, or other rideshare services to reduce vehicle congestion

Bringing the whole family to the rodeo? Leave the parking hassle behind with free off-site parking and easy shuttle rides.

🅿️ Park at 1440 Constitution Boulevard in Salinas
🚌 Shuttles run every 15 minutes, with quick 15-minute rides to and from the Sports Complex

📅 Shuttle service times:
• July 16 to 18 — 4:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• July 19 and 20 — 11:15 AM to 7:30 PM
Service is first-come, first-served, so arrive early to secure your spot
