Salina, we are so incredibly grateful💚

Over the last few days, we weren’t sure what the road ahead would look like after the storm. The messages, encouragement, patience, and support from this community have meant more to us than words can express🥹❤️

As a small, family-run restaurant, Gourmet Eats has always been about more than serving food. It’s about serving our community AND SEEING YOU!

Seeing Salina rally around local businesses during a difficult time has reminded us just how special this community truly is.

Will be open for our normal hours tomorrow:
☕ Breakfast 7:00 AM – 10:45 AM
🥪 Lunch 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We have a feeling Salina is going to show up and show out, and we can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors.

Can't cry over spilled milk? Yet here I am with my heart broken over it... 💔

​So here it is—the update I've been dreading to make.

​If you could put your entire life in a box, what would it look like?! Because apparently, this is what mine currently looks like. 😭 (What we were able to save went back to the animals & the earth. 🌾)

​This week has been unexpectedly hard.
🔌 3 days with no power
❌ 4 days with no operations
📜 2 outside menus gone
🍞⚡️ 2 sandwich coolers toast
😭 And every single bit of our amazing fresh food... GONE!

​Thank you to my amazing village for always being here for support, even when your own lives are in shambles. I could not do this life without you. 🤍

​Now the question—how do we recover from this?! The same way we always do: Grit, determination, good food, and YOU!

​Your support right now is needed more than ever, and I cannot tell you how much it means to me. Gourmet is more than just my place of work—it's honestly my happy place. I have found a part of myself here and I love every second of it, even these incredibly hard ones.

​So starting Monday, we are back to regular operating hours! ⏰️

This has truly been the hardest week for not only us but a lot of our town and I cannot wait to get back to routine all over.
