This is what happens when you stop asking “what should we do?” and start asking “what do we want to feel?”
The answer, for Casey & Nathan, was everything. 💙
These two proved that when you’re intentional about your love, you get to celebrate it exactly how it feels.
For them, that meant beginning their day with a sunrise first look in the San Juan Mountains and ending it with their favorite people cheering them on at sunset.
Their Ouray elopement unfolded in two perfect acts: a quiet morning exchanging private vows beside an alpine lake—just them, the mountains, and forever—followed by an adventure-filled afternoon where they loaded up the Jeep with their crew and said “I do” in one the most magical scenes I’ve witnessed this summer.
Here’s what they understood that so many couples miss: your wedding day doesn’t have to be about choosing one thing over the other.
It can be both intimate and inclusive, adventurous and rooted in tradition. You don’t have to pick between just-the-two-of-you and everyone-you-love.
Sometimes the most radical thing you can do is have it all—on your terms.
From the Switzerland of America to the coziest courtyard celebration, Casey & Nathan crafted a day that felt like the truest expression of their story. No compromises, no settling.
Just two people who knew what their love deserved, and weren’t afraid to create it. ✨
