Your director has been hard at work this summer doing some prep work for our musical. I'm through Act 1, and there are only 107 light cues so far. What do we think the total number will be by the time I'm done?

This might end up being my whole personality. I'm so excited and I hope you are, too!

✨Senior spotlight✨

Our last Senior spotlight is our very own Eliana Williams!!

Eliana is a quadruple star thespian in our troupe. She has been in theater since her sophomore year and has been a technician and actor in our department. On the acting side, she has played Gigi in Calamityville Terror, Prince and Capulet in Romeo & Juliet, Ronette in Little Shop of Horrors, and Gayle in Almost, Maine. Along with doing shows, she competed in the 2024 southwestern Oregon thespian regional competition where she qualified for nationals performing “Lifeboat” from Heathers the Musical in the novices solo musical category. Outside of acting she directed the One Act “Mirror, Mirror”, was a Costume/Hair/Makeup Technician for Almost, Maine, and has served as a Thespian Troupe officer for the past two years. Eliana has brought so much talent to our department, and we will miss her. Break a leg out there!

Next up for senior spotlight is Ryan Brown!!

Ryan is a double star thespian in our troupe who has been doing theater since his freshman year. He played Lucas in Adam’s family and ensemble in Descendants the Musical. Outside of acting, Ryan was a thespian troupe officer in our 2023-2024 season and was house manger for Romeo and Juliet. The troupe won’t be the same without you Ryan, we will miss you! Break a leg out there!!

Our next Senior spotlight is Katie Quevedo!!

Katie is a double star thespian who has been apart of our troupe since her freshman year. She played an ancestor in Adam’s Family and the Evil Queen in Descendants the musical. Outside of acting, she was a one of our thespian troupe officers in the 2023-2024 season and lead events such as drama club. Katie has been a great leader and friend in our troupe and has helped the troupe grow in great ways. Thank you Katie, we will miss you! Break a leg out there!!

Next up is Hendrick Velasco!!

Hendrick has been apart of our troupe since his freshman year. He was ensemble in Descendants the musical and has helped out with many other events hosted by McKay theater such as the annual haunted house. Hendrick has brought so much energy into our troupe that we will miss! Break a leg out there!!

Next up for senior spotlight is our very own Rochele Allen!!

Rochele is an inducted thespian in our Troupe. She has been in theater since her freshman year and has played Pugsley in The Addams Family and Snow White in Descendants. Along with acting, she has also helped out with house crew for our most recent show Almost, Maine. Rochele has given our troupe so many great memories and has brought such a positive energy. Rochele we will miss you! Break a leg out there!!

Today’s senior spotlight is Eleanor Scholerman!!

Eleanor is a double star thespian in our Troupe. She has been a technician in theater since her sophomore year. She has worked on our gorgeous sets for Little Shop of Horrors, Romeo and Juliet, and The Calamityville Terror. Along with this, she was a runner backstage for those shows and worked on props for Descendants. Eleanor has brought so much creativity for our set designs while she was here. We will miss having you in our department. Break a leg out there!

Today’s senior spotlight is Joshua Jennings!

Josh is a quadruple star thespian in our troupe. He has been an actor since his freshman year and has played ensemble in Addams Family, Doug in Descendants, Fred in The Calamityville Terror, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, and Mushnik Little Shop of Horrors. Samuel Riberas is a double star thespian in our troupe. He has been in theater since his freshman year and has played the roles of an ancestor in The Addams Family, Carlos in Descendants, Seymour in Little Shop of horrors, and Dave & East in Almost Maine.
