Had fun at our Spring Laconia Retreat last week, and made this short video while I was there! It's the Autumn Splendor quilt from class in May. Colored very differently from the pattern cover quilt. My husband actually picked this colorway. ;)

PROGRESS Report! Hoping to get this done by mid June

So many colorways to choose from! Its going to be difficult to decide. The new Quiltworx TECHNIQUE of the MONTH quilt "ARCADIA" will be a 6 part class - coming on Saturdays in March and April of 2027. I will be taking pre-orders for kits as soon as pricing becomes available, and then I will schedule my classes. All via ZOOM with 3 seats available in my NH studio. I will be offering an option to purchase 1 day at a time at $40 each - because lets face it, putting out money for the pattern and kit can really put a dent in your cash flow!
All my classes will be accompanied with pre-recorded tutorials, so that you have some visual assistance while working on homework in between class days. Of course you also have ME to assist you at any time with questions you may have when you hit a bump in the ARCADIA road - even if it means having a one on one zoom session to get it smoothed out!
So take a look at these pictures, and start trying to decide which version you would like to make!

Look at all these happy faces!! We had a lot of fun at the first day of a 2 part class making this Twinkle Star quilt with a "twist" colorway. I really enjoy my time teaching at the CT Piecemakers Quilt Guild in Trumbull CT. We are going to finish up this class next Tuesday. Can't wait to see everyone's quilts come togther! :)

This "Queen of Arcadia" in Misty Beaches by Tonga Batiks is my favorite version of the new Quiltworx Technique of the Month quilt. I love how the appliqued olive branches with all those leaves gives it such a delicate look!!
Want to keep it "simple"? You can choose just a couple colors in Colorstock - for this Blue/Green version.
If you are not fond of applique, you will be able to make this quilt without it! Check out the ColorStock version in Rainbow, or the "Abandoned & Palette Curated" version in muted tones!
Colorstock is a fabric line that can be used to make this quilt in ANY favorite color of your own. So EXCITED to be working on this next month!

Today's huge GLIMMER! Eileen Morris came into open sew today with this amazing crazy quilt! It was found at Salvation Army. Discarded/donated by some family member who could not appreciate the amount of work that went into making this crazy quilt top. Eileen will be doing some very simple quilting on this today. While sandwiching this quilt, we found one little bit of identification. "Edie" Who is this person? Boy how I would live to meet Edie! I'm in love with this quilt!!!🥰
