The Story Behind Sugar Rush Games

I have always believed that the best memories are made when people play. Not just watching, not just sitting side by side, but truly diving in together, laughing, competing, collaborating, and growing closer along the way.

After years of teaching cookie decorating, I noticed something. Adults lit up like kids the moment a challenge was introduced. A timer. A surprise twist. A partner. Suddenly, frosting turned into strategy, sprinkles into wild creativity, and cookies into a reason to cheer each other on. Men who never thought twice about icing a cookie were suddenly trying to win. Women who swore they were not artistic found themselves in friendly battles to claim the Golden Whisk. Parents and children played as equals. The room became electric.

That spark was the beginning of Sugar Rush Games.

I wanted an experience where everyone, men and women, young and old, could come together on the same playing field. A place where the competition was just as thrilling as the cookie decorating. When a room is buzzing with energy, encouragement, and a little playful rivalry, something magical happens. Fear fades. Laughter rises. And people who barely knew each other walk away feeling like a team.

The complimentary wine does not hurt either. lol

That is why Sugar Rush Games is primarily a private party experience. Yes, we occasionally offer open events, but the original heartbeat of this concept lives in the shared history of the people in the room. The cookies are simply the tool. The real magic is what happens between the people decorating them.
