After playing by the rules since February we finally have a card show to go to 👍. There won’t be any signers live at the show but there are a bunch of private signings going on that you have the chance to get in on. Remember to change the clock when you go to bed Saturday night.
Here we go with an information summary for our show this Sunday, November 1st. We are at our at our usual location: Orlando Gardens, 4300 Hoffmeister Ave and our show hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Please remember that Daylight Savings time ends so we get an extra hour of sleep!
The photo with this post shows the door prizes for this show. Great stuff is offered! We have increased the frequency of the drawings to 30 minute intervals from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Online purchases of admission tickets is encouraged. Not only do you enter the show quicker, the admission tickets are sold at a discounted rate and by using the $5 coupon you actually are receiving a dollar for attending!! In order for us to prepare the pre-purchased admissions orders should be placed by late Friday. The pre purchase option will be removed from the home page. Admissions will still be available at the show, but without the discount. As in the past, the admission price lowers to $3 at noon.
Capacity limits are in place for St Louis County. We will be counting customers entering and leaving to ensure that occupancy limits are not exceeded. This also helps to minimize the chance of overcrowding at the show. Other measures we are putting in place are: Everyone needs to wear a mask, we are having a separate entrance and exit to both the venue and the showroom. Masks, gloves and even a couple face shields are available if needed. Plenty of hand sanitizers will be available. Plexiglas will be placed at the admission and drop off tables, Because we have the entire building for the show, dealer tables will have gaps between dealers and we will have wider aisles for customers..
As stated on the previous message, we are accepting drop offs for all signers, both the scheduled privates and the guests that have been postponed. It is important for folks to know that this is your chance to obtain Garry Unger on premium and full sized items as this is the only in person signing with him. All our future signings with Garry will be through the mail. Our emails will have updates on our signings. Also, please remember that if we are holding your items from previous signings, this is the time to pick them up!
