Twenty years ago, to the day, I was late for school. Instead of going to class, I was sitting in my car listening to the changeover from the classical station to The Current I didn’t know what an impact this radio station would have on my life yet— I just knew I had finally found a place to hear music that spoke to me. It felt like someone finally understood what I wanted to hear and loved it as much as I did.
