If you're wondering - yes, this moment is what I live for. That moment they just saw their reception room that they'll spend the rest of the night celebrating in. At that point, we've guided their guests' experience, gotten them married, and people are ready for the next chapter of the night ... and if I'm lucky, we get 2 minutes to capture this "we did it" moment with our clients. It's everything; absolutely everything to us.

Behind every flawless reception transition is solid styling choreography. We are suckers for a smart room flip, and Brooke and Chris’s sweetheart table at The Lowlands was a lesson in repurposing. Why leave that breathtaking arch sitting in an empty ceremony space when it can set the scene again for dinner? Beautiful, sustainable, and high-impact design - love it.

The alternating pastel linen napkins, the yellow tapers, and the fresh fruit tucked into the arrangements at The Lowlands made their day as bright and cheerful as their guests.

Let's, once again, give some serious props to the greatest theater set designer and art curator to ever do it: Mother Nature. She absolutely nailed the blocking and the lighting cues for Mallory & Brady's Golden Hour session at Gathered Oaks. The nature frame makes a more-than-perfect lakeside moment look like a private, secret oasis. Standing ovation for the earth, honestly.

This golden hour session is officially in our wedding history books. Truly, the gold has never been so gold as it was that evening for Mallory & Brady at Gathered Oaks. A year later, and we still think about this exact magic moment by the lake watching Russell capture it all. The camera was clicking!
