5 reasons I might not be the best florist for you

1. You want exact Pinterest replicas. First of all, it’s not even possible half the time to get the exact same flowers as what you see on Pinterest due to seasonality and availability. Second of all, I believe your wedding should feel like YOU and not a copy of someone else’s day. Inspiration is great. Duplication? Not really my jam.

2. You prefer “safe” over artful. If you’re looking for florals that feel elevated, layered, a little unexpected and full of movement, we’ll get along beautifully. If you want perfectly round bouquets and identical centerpieces, I may not be your girl.

3. You’re not really into creating an “experience.” Flowers are more than decor to me, they help shape a vibe and create the energy of a space. I design with the FEELING in mind, not JUST a color palette.

4. You want the cheapest option. I care deeply about quality blooms, thoughtful design, intentional details and an experience that feels personal from the start. If you’re shopping solely on price, I’m probably not going to be it.

5. You want someone to “take orders.” My favorite clients have trusted me fully creatively. They come with a vision, a vibe and some inspo, and then they allow me to create something uniquely tailored to them. It’s exciting!!

If you love florals that feel expressive and alive, and a designer who cares deeply about creating something meaningful…then we might be a perfect match 🐝💖

If I can do this, I can do anything. 💪

1.0: Bumble Fleur started in a humble space in the corner of the offices, to which I am FOREVER grateful for the support that team and especially shared with me.

2.0: Once I gained floral confidence, I moved to full time in 2022 to our creative studio space in St. Paul where HUNDREDS of you joined me to love on flowers. For three wonderful, inspiring, amazing years at the Everest Arts & Sciences building I built friendships and lasting connections in that space, all through flowers. I cannot say enough beautiful things about the staff and community there.

3.0: Now, it’s time for me to own this business. I am building from the ground up a new workspace that works. For. Me. I am so excited to expand my business in building something from the actual ground up. Once we are finished, I can’t wait to host exclusive garden party floral nights and create incredible designs, right on my own property, in a space I designed from the get go.

HUGE huge thanks to my husband, and my family for believing in me, helping me with this huge labor of love, and listening to all my crazy ideas, and for coming to my house early every morning in the cold spring weather to literally lift this dream up into reality. ❤️

I love a trendy flower, but I do think couples should know that some of them can have ✨issues✨ so it’s important to be open to substitutes to these particular popular blooms. And a reminder to be nice to your florist who will try to move heaven and earth to get you the best blooms possible. 💖😊

Gotta give em the ole Rough’n’Fluff! ✨🌸 One reason I love floristry is that I’m always learning. Learning new techniques, ways to care for flowers, playing with new-to-me floral varieties, and the limitless ways to design.

This flower season, I’m embracing creating my own path and doing things in a way that brings me joy, and doesn’t make me feel the dreaded imposter syndrome.

To me, the best work I put out is when I’m trusted creatively and given COLOR to play with. Flowers are FUN and a joyful luxury i am so grateful to be able to provide!
