Thank you to everyone who helped make the first We Made This Art Fair such a meaningful weekend!

Over 65 artists filled The Machine Shop with creativity, conversation, and connection as we celebrated the creative power of women during Women’s History Month.

The energy in the room was something special. It felt so good to be together celebrating women, artists and community.

We are grateful to the artists who shared their work and to the thousands of people who came out to support independent artists and small creative businesses.

Thank you for being part of it.
We can’t wait to do it again next year!

2025 was our biggest year yet, and we're feeling deeply grateful.

From awards and record-breaking crowds, to launching a brand new event and welcoming new leaders to the Homespun team, this year reminded us again and again why we do this work.

Hundreds of thousands of you showed up.
463 unique artists shared their work.
And together, artists earned an estimated $3.5 million through Homespun Events.

What matters most to us, though, is the trust behind those numbers. The artists who bring their work and their businesses to our events. The guests who come ready to discover, connect, and support creative work. And the staff who pour so much care into every detail behind the scenes.

Thank you for being part of the Homespun community. We're carrying everything we learned in 2025 forward as we build new events, deepen our support for artists, and create even more spaces for art, community, and connection. We can't wait to see you in 2026.

Join us for an evening of networking, drinks, and real talk on jury images, artist statements, and what jurors are actually looking for, plus a panel with directors from some of Minnesota’s top art festivals.

Whether you’re applying for your first show or refining your approach for 2026, you’ll leave with more clarity, confidence, and community. Register now at the link in our bio! ✨

Based in St. Paul, Lily is the artist behind , an Asian, woman-owned business known for handmade watercolors, original artwork, and thoughtfully designed paper goods. Inspired by nature, travel, and the everyday beauty of her community, Lily creates work that feels both personal and joyful. Every watercolor is made by hand in small batches, meaning truly one-of-a-kind colors you won’t find anywhere else. Meet Ann Gougebas of , an artist who weaves nostalgia, nature, and timeless craftsmanship into every piece she creates. Ann’s jewelry is shaped by vintage eras and the quiet beauty of the natural world, resulting in designs that feel both familiar and newly discovered. “The past and nature both guide my creative process, and their presence is reflected in every design I create,” she shares.

Growing up surrounded by antique furniture and old textiles, Ann developed an early love for objects with history and soul, an influence that continues to shine through her work today. Each piece is crafted with intention, blending antique-inspired details with organic forms that resonate on a deeply personal level. Discover more of her artistry and meet Ann at the Minnesota Merry Market this weekend December 20-21, booth 209!
