This collaboration has already been such a blessing, and I’m excited to see where it grows. You’ll find Holistic Flower Farm featured alongside many wonderful organizations serving families throughout Minnesota.

One of my favorite parts? My daughter Britney designed the ad for me. 🥰 As a mother, it means so much to see my children using their gifts to help support a dream that started with a few flower seeds, faith, and a lot of perseverance.

🌻💐 Last night reminded me why I do what I do.

Thank you to Mike, Bravo Burrito, and everyone involved including my friend Janel in bringing the new commercial to life. It was fun to add a little floral touch to an evening filled with creativity, community, and support.

It was wonderful to see so many people sharing their time and talents to support a local business.

It also made me smile to hear myself introduced as “Amy, aka The Flower Lady.” I guess the new tagline is sticking! 😊

🌸 Peony Myth vs. Fact 🌸

At the Richmond Farmers Market yesterday, someone mentioned that peonies need ants on their buds in order to bloom.🐜

While it’s a common belief, it’s actually a myth! 😊

Peonies do not need ants to bloom. Ants are attracted to the sweet nectar that peony buds produce, but the flowers will open just fine without them.

What peonies really love is:
☀️ Plenty of sunshine (at least 6 hours a day)
🌡️ Warm temperatures
💧 Consistent moisture during active growth
🌱 Well-drained soil

The ants are simply enjoying a snack while they wait for the show to begin!

Peonies are one of my favorite signs that summer is arriving in Minnesota. Their beautiful blooms remind us that sometimes all a flower needs is the right conditions to unfold into something beautiful.
