What a wonderful day we had on the farm yesterday at the Holiday Open House inside the milk barn. As a creative and an entrepreneur there is always the question in the back of my mind… wondering if anyone will come or buy the things I’m creating. It’s always a bit of a gamble, but you all showed up and it was beautiful! Thank you so much for supporting our little family flower farm. We are so grateful for our customers, without you we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!

Our “Hug in a Mug” is the perfect gift you’ve been looking for. Come see us at the farm anytime Friday 10-6! !

Here we are at the last day of October, where did this month go? I’ll take this last chance to remind you to schedule your mammogram, ladies! Early detection is key! In the fall of 2023 I almost didn’t schedule mine. We had had a lot of changes that year, including insurance. However, after some reflection, I decided it was important enough to get it on the schedule. At this point, I had had two routine mammograms that were considered completely clear, so I didn’t really expect them to find anything. However, in December 2023, it was confirmed that I had breast cancer. At the time they considered it stage 1. Fast-forward through an emotional January 2024 a bilateral mastectomy showed that I was actually already at Stage 2 and even though I tested negative for the BRCA gene, after I shared my news, I found out that I’m the fifth woman on my mother‘s side of the family to have breast cancer. There is just still so much unknown about women’s health, and breast cancer in general. I hope sharing my story will encourage you to not delay, and to schedule that appointment! Much Love, Lynn 🎀

Making wreaths for the first time in a few years… trying to find my way around this timeless craft again and doing my best to resist the urge or expectation to make them look like everyone else’s.
