Henry Freedom Amphitheater was
named because of the patriotic atmosphere that the South Park conveys. There is a beautiful round brick display in the middle of the walking park with three flags symbolizing our country, state, and school. There are also large monument displays for each branch of the United States military services and a list of names of all St. Henry residents that served for our
country's freedom. Henry Freedom Amphitheater was built to be able to create an entertaining meeting place for people to gather and enjoy. Henry 175th anniversary celebration in July. The Freedom Friends Committee has organized the Friday evening events, but there are many other ideas that are being discussed that will bring a wide range of uses to the park. The amphitheater building also houses the new restrooms and a concession area for the park. The land facing the amphitheater is contoured to accommodate lawn chairs, and the walkways are handicap accessible. It has been arranged to have individual or
business donations to the amphitheater go
through the Mercer County Civic Foundation to make it a tax deductible donation. Freedom Friends Committee:
