To everyone who has recently joined **The Open Easel Project**... welcome.

I'm truly excited you're here.

For many years, I've been an artist. Along the way, I also built a career helping people move beyond the mental and emotional roadblocks that keep them stuck. It took me a while to realize those two worlds were never separate. They were always meant to work together.

The Open Easel Project is where my love of creating and my coaching experience finally meet.

This isn't about teaching a particular style of art. It doesn't matter if you paint, draw, sculpt, photograph, write, crochet, carve, create digital art, or express yourself in ways no one has thought of yet.

It's about helping artists reconnect with the part of themselves that creates.

Sometimes the biggest obstacle isn't a lack of talent. It's self-doubt. Perfectionism. Comparison. Fear of starting. Fear of starting over.

My hope is to help you see beyond those blocks, rediscover your inspiration, and remind you that your creativity has always been there. Sometimes it just needs someone to help clear the path.

This is a pay-what-you-can space, because I believe access to creativity and support shouldn't be limited by finances.

Sometimes a project doesn't stand still because it's finished.

Sometimes it stands still because it's waiting for you to understand what it was always meant to become.

Over the past few months, this page has been known as **Intuitive Creating with Michelle**. As I spent time reflecting, I realized something surprising.

It was never just about creating art.

For years, I've been helping people see beyond their roadblocks. I've encouraged artists to look past self-doubt, helped people rediscover ideas they thought they'd lost, and reminded creatives that sometimes all they need is a different perspective.

I had been doing this for a long time.

I just hadn't recognized that this was my role.

Creating was always part of the journey, but the deeper purpose was helping others become re-inspired and see possibilities they couldn't quite see on their own.

That's why this page is becoming **The Open Easel Project: Paying It Forward**.

An easel doesn't create the masterpiece.

It simply holds space for what is waiting to emerge.

That's what I hope to do.

To help creatives see beyond what's in front of them, move past the roadblocks, rediscover their inspiration, and one day pay that encouragement forward to someone else.

Sometimes the greatest work we create isn't on the canvas.

Sometimes it's helping another person believe they can be creative again.

An easel holds possibility.

It's where something begins. Where ideas take shape. Where nothing is fixed, and everything remains open to change.

Calling it **Open** is intentional. This isn't about rigid instruction or predetermined outcomes. It's about creating space. Space for curiosity, exploration, fresh perspective, and discovering possibilities you may not have seen before.

As an artist, I've learned that some of the greatest breakthroughs don't happen on the canvas.

They happen in the way we begin to see.

**The Open Easel Project: Paying It Forward** was created for artists, makers, writers, photographers, and creative minds seeking a fresh perspective.

Not an art lesson.

Not a critique.

Just a thoughtful conversation designed to help you move beyond where you feel stuck and discover what may be waiting just beyond your current view.

Sessions are available online, in your creative space, and soon, in my own creative studio.

To make this accessible, sessions are offered on a **Pay What You Can** basis. I understand that creativity doesn't always come with a predictable paycheck, and I never want finances to stand in the way of inspiration.

If, after our time together, you leave feeling encouraged, inspired, or simply see your work in a new light, my only hope is that you'll one day pay that encouragement forward to another creative.

Because sometimes all it takes is one person helping another see beyond what's in front of them.
