Some of the things your wedding coordinator is doing behind the scenes that you may not think of…

✔️ Repurposing your florals and other decorations from the ceremony to reception space (Ahem…these silly photos of me carrying huge plantar pots 😂)

✔️ Cleaning up flower petals on the ground (A lot of venues require you to clean up flower petals, and it’s often forgotten)

✔️ Locking up your cards and gifts in a safe place before the night is over (If it’s not a locked vehicle, that usually means the bridal suite)

✔️ Lighting (and re-lighting) candles during cocktail hour, and tying down table linens with ribbon or clamps when it’s windy outside!

✔️ Encouraging your guests to take flowers and leftover dessert home so it doesn’t all go in the trash at the end of the night, or worse, get gross in your hot car.

✔️ Making sure your DJ is making the appropriate announcements, such as shuttle departure times, late night pizza arrival, last call, etc.

…And so much more! General rule of thumb: If you don’t notice the coordinator much at a wedding, that’s a good thing. 😉 We are there to make sure the day runs smoothly while fading into the background.

On the morning of August 15th, Steve texted me and said, “I wanted to keep Melanie out of this so she can just enjoy, but I was wondering if you could coordinate with the venue to perhaps wipe down all the ceremony chairs when the rain stops?” 🥹

Buddy, we’ve got you covered! Don’t you worry about a thing! 😉 We love a concerned groom! 🤭

This request gives you a sneak peek into how sweet and thoughtful Melanie and Steve are as a couple. They planned the entire wedding together, and they clearly cared about every little detail. Most importantly, they care about each other, and wanted to make sure both of their wants were taken into consideration. The decisions weren’t one-sided at all.

These two were so kind and appreciative. If I could coordinate their wedding again, I would do it in a heartbeat!

I say ABSOLUTELY NOT!

In my opinion, there is nothing more perfect than real, genuine laughter and facial expressions on your wedding day. It captures true personalities and all of those special moments.

I can just feel the pure joy in all of these photos, and it warms my heart. 💛

Loren and Kellen worked super hard to bring this woodsy, Bridgerton-inspired, colorful, fairy tale wedding to life!

Everything from the flowers (They created themselves, by the way), to the pink, blue, and green candles, to their adorable bow tie napkins, not a single detail was left untouched!
