•LaMerite is a specialty salon for every special occasion with a staff that has over 90 years of combined experience to properly guide you to the dress of your dreams.
•LaMerite is a "Family Owned" three generation old business. Our History:
LaMerite's story began when my Grandmother Regina who was a widow at 34 years old with two young boy to raise was looking for a store to purchase because her previous retail store was destroyed by a fire.Her search led her to a store at 3118 South Grand Blvd., a general ready to wear women's store with a small Bridal department. When Regina purchased the store the name on the store was LaMerite and proudly still remains in business today. After serving over three generations of Saint Louis customers.As time progressed her oldest son Jack, my father, joined his Mother Regina as a business partner. Regina retired in the 1970's . At that point I "Art" was old enough to join my father Jack as his partner and became the third generation owner of the family business. We are proud to say our business is still a family owned and operated business. LaMerite has serviced thousands of customers over our 65 years in business and are looking forward to serving you!
