It’s that time of year again for Holiday Family Porch-traits!

Do you still need family photos for last minute holiday cards or to gift prints to family and friends?

This 15 minute Porch Mini Session opportunity is quick and easy for your whole family.

For theses sessions, I'll be serving the East Sacramento, Elmhurst & River Park areas with the opportunity extended to Tahoe Park residents as well, depending on booking times to allow for travel in between each session.

These sessions will be offered the weekend before and the weekend after Thanksgiving, with a turnaround time for edited photos by the following weekend.

What's included:
15 minutes Session
Location - your front porch
3 retouched images
$10 per additional image - due after session when photo selections have been made.

Cost - $80
Prepayment for session due at booking.

I’m looking for a few high school seniors to model for senior portraits used for my promotional material. In exchange for their time and effort one female, male and non-binary high school senior model will each receive the digital images from their session.

Session to take place end of February/beginning of March 2023.

Please share, tag students and parents you think would like to be considered for this session.

Big thank you to KC Kombucha in Oak Park for inviting Santa and Mrs. Claus to hang out with them for a few hours last Sunday so anyone who wanted to take photos with them could stop by.

Skylan was really happy to see them both, while knowing they have a busy schedule this time of year. I was excited that there was no long line and that we could take our own photos.

We hope this is an annual tradition for KC Kombucha, so we can come back to them to see Santa and Mrs. Claus again next year, and with our new baby. We love their kombucha and this was the candy cane on top! Which by the way, you should totally stop in and try their Candy Cane Kombucha before it's done for the season!

Always my muse. We went to meet a friend at Camp Po***ck who was shooting our family/maternity session tonight during the Golden Hour and of course my camera did NOT stay home. I wanted to share this session I shot for myself with my daughter Skylan. She was such a good sport being my focal point as I set the frame and timers to jump into the shot myself and to join her.

She is so excited to be a big sister and my partner and I are also anxiously anticipating this little babe's arrival. Being behind the lens most of the time, I often skip documenting my own milestones. I didn't want to let that happen before we welcome the newest member to our family. I am so glad we made this happen.

Of course we did these at the Sac State Arboretum because I absolutely LOVE this space and its been my go to this fall for so many of my clients, as its a bit of cultivated wild in the otherwise busy city of Sacramento.

I'll be on maternity leave and will be back scheduling sessions again starting in March. So while our winter holidays are right around the corner, start thinking about scheduling your session for Spring holidays, Mother's Day and Father's Day. They will be here before you know it!

I've watched the Saito family grow over the past few years and when we get together to take photos, its always full of laughter, exploration and fun. Exploring the Sac State Arboretum with them is something we do throughout the year and a really comfortable environment to do their family photo session.

The beauty of this experience is that we found new spots we still hadn't visited yet and got to enjoy them together. Capturing these images is just as much about the experience for the family, building memories, as it is about freezing moments in time, before these amazing children are grown.

Loved working with this family for their family porch photo session, which really was awesome not only because they are a really nice family but their front yard was beautiful! They were excited to incorporate their family photos here and I was too. The images from their session turned out beautiful and captured fall before we got our first big rain in Sacramento a week later.
