Inspired by Vermont’s natural elegance, we design floral creations that bring joy, comfort, and inspiration to life’s most meaningful occasions. The Rustic Magnolia Flower Shop was founded by Nikki Powell, following her passion and love for creativity in floral design. After spending more than five years working under experienced florists, Nikki immersed herself in both the artistry of floral desi

gn and the business of running a flower shop. During that time, she perfected her skills, developed a deep understanding of customer needs, and saw firsthand how flowers bring comfort, joy, and connection to life’s most meaningful moments. Nikki especially loves working with couples as they plan their weddings, helping them bring their vision to life through flowers that reflect their story and style. She also feels deeply honored to support families during times of loss, listening to their memories and creating sympathy arrangements that celebrate the lives of their loved ones. Just as importantly, she delights in designing everyday arrangements that brighten homes, celebrate milestones, and bring smiles.

From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!
The last few days have been some of the hardest we have ever faced. Losing so much of our little flower shop to the fire has been absolutely heartbreaking. But in the midst of all of this, our community has shown us a level of kindness, compassion, and support that words can barely describe.
Thank you for every message,email, phone call, prayer, hug, and act of encouragement. Thank you to the people who have stopped by just to check on us, those who have driven down to our space to give us a hug, and everyone who has reached out to remind us that we are not facing this alone.
Every single gesture has meant more than you know. When things felt overwhelming, your support lifted us up and reminded us why we love being part of this community.
While our shop suffered a devastating loss, our spirit has not. We will rebuild, and we will come back stronger. Until then, please know how grateful we are for each and every one of you.

It is with a broken heart that we share some devastating news.

Yesterday evening, The Rustic Magnolia Florist suffered a catastrophic fire. Thankfully, no one was in the building at the time and everyone is safe!

Our hearts are also with our neighbors who share the building with us, as we know this loss and disruption affects them as well.

We cannot thank the Rutland City Fire Department enough for their dedication, professionalism, and tireless efforts in responding to the fire and containing the blaze. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did during this unimaginable situation. The contents of our space were a total loss.

We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, prayers, messages, and support from our amazing community. The kindness we have already received means more than words can express.

Today, our hearts are broken. The Rustic Magnolia was built with love, hard work, and the support of this incredible community. While we have lost so much, we have not lost hope. We will rebuild.

To our customers: all existing orders, weddings, and events are still being honored and will be fulfilled as planned. While our shop has suffered a tremendous loss, our commitment to our clients has not changed. We are already making arrangements to ensure every order, wedding, and event receives the same care, quality, and attention that The Rustic Magnolia is known for. We will continue to keep everyone updated as we move forward.
