I think I have rounded up and posted all of the photos I captured for the 180th Vermont State Fair.
This will be my last batch.

Y’all come on out for a good old-fashioned BARN DANCE & HOEDOWN to help support the historic Vermont State Fair Gate House! 🎶🇺🇸 Plaid and country attire encouraged!

📍 VFW Post 648 – 15 Wales St., Rutland

🍽️ Meatloaf, mashed potatoes & dessert — $15
⏰ Dinner served 5:00–7:00 PM

🎶 Sunset Entertainment will be DJing from 6:30–10:00 PM
🎟️ Raffle prizes drawn from 7:00–10:00 PM — $10 to enter for the evening!
💰 50/50 proceeds will benefit the Farm Museum Fund

Come enjoy some great food, music, dancing, raffles, and good company while helping us SAVE THE GATE HOUSE! ❤️

Around the fair - Saturday August 22, 2026 -Part 2

Every year on Saturday night when the fair is ending, Morris Vivona comes to the office.
The Vivona family has owned Amusements Of America since 1939.
Morris had mentioned that he has a photo on his wall of every fair they do except for ours.
So we asked our photographer if she could print out and frame a certain photo that she captured and posted here on the second day of our fair.
When Morris came into the office Saturday night, we presented him with the photo, as this year was the 10 year anniversary of his company being back at The Vermont State Fair.
He was very pleased with the photo and it will now hang with the rest of the fairs on his wall.
That photo is also our new cover photo.
Thank you Morris! We look forward to seeing you again next year! 😊
