✨ A little behind-the-scenes from 113 ✨

Yesterday, Dad and I loaded up and drove 3 hours each way to pick up our new chairs for the venue. It was a long day, but moments like these remind me what being part of a family business is all about.

Growing up, I’ve watched my dad pour his heart into everything he does. His dedication, work ethic, and willingness to do whatever needs to be done have always inspired me. As we continue building 113 together, I’m incredibly grateful for the example he sets every day and for the opportunity to work alongside him.

Of course, family businesses are never a one-person show. A huge thank you to the rest of our family who jumped in to help unload over 100 chairs, wipe them down, and get everything ready for the venue. What could have been an overwhelming task turned into a team effort, and I’m so thankful for each of them.

These new chairs are just one more step in making 113 the best it can be, and we can’t wait for everyone to see them at future events!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone from the S**g Club for making your gathering at 113 such a special one! We were honored to host our very first event with such a wonderful group, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick things off.

If you missed this month's gathering, be sure to stop by and join the fun when the S**g Club returns on August 7th! Whether you're an experienced dancer or just curious to see what it's all about, you'll be welcomed with open arms.

Hello everyone!

My name is Roxanne Linder, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new operator of ONE13 Event Venue.

I am a recent graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Throughout my education and professional experiences, I have developed a passion for creating memorable guest experiences, planning events, and serving others.

Many of you may already know me through my family's business, Forest City Fish Camp. Growing up in a family-owned business taught me the value of hard work, hospitality, and treating every guest like family. Those values are something I am proud to carry with me into this new chapter at ONE13.

ONE13 is a versatile event venue designed to host a variety of special occasions, including weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, reunions, corporate events, holiday parties, and more. In addition to venue rentals, we are excited to offer catering options through Forest City Fish Camp Catering, providing everything from refreshments and charcuterie displays to customized meal packages.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our community and helping create meaningful celebrations and events. I look forward to meeting each of you and welcoming you to ONE13.
