This is actually wild!
New lower prices for full frame 6K cameras!
Today we announced a reduction in the price of Blackmagic PYXIS 6K models and Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K by over US$1,000. These lower prices have been made possible by securing better pricing on parts. This means full frame 6K digital film cameras are now more affordable for more customers.
All models feature a sensor with a native resolution of 6048 x 4032 allowing you to shoot with a shallow depth of field or use anamorphic lenses un-cropped for a true cinematic look. With dual native ISO up to 25,600, the high performance sensor provides stunning low noise images in all lighting conditions. You can shoot up to 36 fps at full sensor resolution or 120 fps windowed. The amazing sensor combined with Blackmagic color science gives you the same quality as the most expensive digital cinema cameras.
The new prices, excluding duties, are listed below.
