Taking the Leap is a full-service wedding planner and florist. Prior to starting Taking the Leap, Keli Schoonover was a wedding planner and florist for 30 years. Keli started in high school when her family bought a florist shop. That is when planning and flowers became Keli’s passion. Past clients say Keli’s planning and organization skills, as well as her attention to detail, created outstanding

weddings and ceremonies. Planning a wedding can be one of the most stressful times in a couples relationship. Obtaining and retaining quality vendors, taking care of hundreds of details and planning the best day of your lives within a manageable budget can dampen even the strongest of romances. Taking the Leap offers a variety of wedding services and provides peace of mind so you can relax and enjoy your special day. Wedding planners are a huge creative resource. When you pick a venue they give you a “wedding coordinator” from the venue to help coordinate the day. This person is NOT the same as an independent planner.
