Happy Sunday Friends.
We’re looking forward to a week ahead with all of you, but I first wanted to address the elephant in the room.
As most of you know, there have been many recent changes in staffing, which means many new changes in the operation of Robertson Hollow. I’m sure some of you have noticed more closures, perhaps a longer wait time, or even a lack of quality in our product. All that being said, I just ask you to be patient while I try to establish structure in this new environment.
We have two new, incredibly talented, and courteous staff members that are not only learning a new trade, but learning from me. I assure you, that’s no easy feat. There’s a lot of information circulating through this brain of mine and trying to pass it along in a short amount of time isn’t easy. Also, I’m a doer and not a teacher, so you can imagine that my teaching techniques are more demanding and less informative. I’m working on that. Thank goodness they’re being patient and understanding with me.
I’m sure many of you will think my explanation is too personal, too lengthy, or even not necessary, but in all honesty, it’s probably more for me than you. Letting you know that my standards aren’t up to par as of late, allows me to reconcile that at least my beloved customers have been informed and pushes me a little harder to get things right.
Robertson Hollow will remain open, in all facets, until I am compelled to do otherwise. This means that we will continue to offer all services: Breakfast, Lunch, Catering, Custom Baking/Cooking, Floral, and beyond.
It may take us a little longer to respond to your calls and messages, wait times may be a skosh longer for a bit, a few more closures due to catering events, but we’re here to keep this place running as smoothly as possible for you all. Again, please be patient and give grace to our new employees. They’re doing GREAT and I am so grateful.
With a few days of respite, I realize that my plate is indeed full, but my cup runneth over. I am always reminded of how truly blessed I am to have a successful business with the absolute most loving, wonderful customers.
