🎨 2026 River Bottoms Festival T-Shirt Design Contest 🎨👕
The 6th Annual River Bottoms Festival – "Our Town, Our Story" will be held on September 26, 2026, and we want the community to help create this year's festival t-shirt design!
We're inviting kids, adults, artists, students, hobbyists, and anyone with a great idea to submit a design. Whether you're a professional artist or just enjoy being creative, we'd love to see what "Our Town, Our Story" means to you.

Submission Requirements:
✅ PNG file with a transparent background
✅ Submit by June 30, 2026

Winner announced July 1, 2026
Winner receives: 💲100, 2 free t-shirts and ⛳️🏌‍♂️golf package for 2 at 🐸 Toad Valley Golf Course.

RRBF Foundation is on the agenda for tonight's city council meeting for the 6th Annual Festival approval on our event permit and street closures. Once approved we will make official announcements regarding this years festival date and activites! We are excited to make new memories and bring our community together again this year!!

With Veterans Day coming up on Tuesday, RRBF Foundation wants to shine a light on the incredible work done by:
🇺🇲 Runnells American Legion Post #689 🇺🇲
This organization provides invaluable support for our veterans and their families, continuing the spirit of service and support long after the uniform comes off. Our local Runnells Legion Post #689 exemplifies what it means to continue serving the community. From supporting fellow veterans and their families to engaging in local initiatives and cermonies: Honor Guard, Color Guard, grave flag placement and repairs, Grand Marshalling parades and so many other charitable actions and donations to local families. Their dedication is truly commendable.
To each of you, YOUR work ensures that the sacrifices of our service members are never forgotten!!!!
Your selflessness and bravery do not go unnoticed. We are so proud to have you in our community. We are forever grateful for all you have done!

Runnells American Legion Post #689

The RRBF Foundation presented a check to Pastor Nathan Thomas on behalf of Berean Church "Extending Hope & Wholeness" from funds raised at the 5th Annual River Bottoms Festival.
Berean blessed our entire festival with their "Berean Express" in the parade and outside kidszone- that was an absolute hit with the kiddos at the festival. Berean Church has several family fun and outreach events throughout the year. Many in our community attend Berean on Sundays and we hope this helps with the spread of hope and wholeness for our children, even further!

This one is close to our hearts!!
With the food insecurity fears affecting our country and even those locally at this time, RRBF Foundation is honored to support the vital work Tami Fink-Borg and Robert E. Borg do for our 50237community. A check for $1000 was presented to 3G Food Pantry from proceeds raised at the 5th Annual River Bottoms Festival.

"Neighbors helping Neighbors" No child nor family should go hungry in our community. We encourage you to support their efforts in any way that you can.
At this time they are in need of hygiene and toiletries to support the local need. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please do so directly by contacting 515-210-1926. There are children counting on us in our very own 50237.

We are kicking off the start to our donation check deliveries! Money raised from the 5th Annual River Bottoms Festival has been allocated to some very special groups of people that do so much for our community and are engaged in helping our local citizens in so many ways.
Today, we honor:
👨‍🚒🚑 Runnells-Camp Township Fire Dept 🔥 🚒
RRBF Foundation presented a check for $750 to Craig and Tracey Thompson! Thank YOU and ALL of the Dept for giving selflessly for years in the 50237. 🥰

As we wrap up all things Festival, we thought this would be fun to share. After going through all the kidzone liability forms we found that we had kids/families from all over Iowa, which is pretty exciting. Here's a list of cities that signed in.
