🙏You can’t tell me God isn’t real🙏
Today, during our lunch rush, we had a guest experience a small issue with his order. As a business owner, moments like that matter to me. I went out to speak with him personally, made things right, and we decided our brisket would be a great alternative. My goal is always to make sure every guest leaves feeling valued, and thankfully, he was happy with the outcome.
Wanting to go one step further, I had my mom write him a gift card for a complimentary rack of ribs on his next visit. By the time I got outside, he had already left—but I noticed he was still in the parking lot, so I ran over to catch him.
Before I could even hand him the gift card, he looked at me and said, “I am a man of Christ, and I want to pray for you, your family, and the success of your business.”
Right there in the parking lot, we bowed our heads together. As he prayed, my hand naturally rested on his shoulder. It was one of those moments where everything around us seemed to disappear.
As he finished, he prayed these words:
“Lord, please send all the right people to cross his path. Bless his family, bless this business, and let Your hand be upon it. Amen.”
Those words have stayed with me all day.
Running a small business isn’t always easy. There are long days, hard decisions, setbacks, and moments that test your faith. But every once in a while, God reminds you that He’s still working—even through complete strangers.
That gentleman probably thought he was simply praying for me, but the truth is, he was the blessing I needed today. I truly believe God had already answered his prayer before he ever spoke it, because He had sent the right person to cross my path.
To the man who stopped and prayed over me today—thank you. Your kindness, your faith, and your willingness to share God’s love with a stranger meant more than you’ll ever know.
Sometimes God doesn’t speak through thunder. Sometimes He sends an ordinary person to remind you that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
God is good—all the time. ❤️
