At Blossom Ridge, we’re lucky to share our barn with some very special guests each summer – our barn swallows!

Every spring, these graceful little birds return to build their nests high up in the barn rafters. With their swooping flight and cheerful chatter, they bring so much life and energy to the farm. Barn swallows are incredible parents, carefully tending to their tiny babies until they’re strong enough to take flight on their own.

It’s always a joy to watch them dart across the fields, keeping the air clear of pesky insects while adding a touch of beauty to the farm. Nature has its own rhythm here, and our barn swallows are such a sweet reminder of that. We are sad each fall when they begin their long flights to South America for warmer weather. But their inner GPS system brings them back again in spiring.
